The scene with Packard Walsh seeing his name on a grave stone followed by “R.I.P.” reminded me of that scene from “A Christmas Carol” (1951) starring Alistair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge. The Spirit of Christmas Future. pointed to a similar grave stone with “Ebenezer Scrooge” written upon it. Difference between Scrooge and Packerd, was that the latter was calm, whereas Scrooge was scared into being happy.
